To us, meaningful mentorship must have continuity, and the relationship between mentor and mentee should evolve over time. 

We see career-building as a long game, composed of different variables, both artistic and industry-related. Evolution of an artist’s true personality and artistic identity should be encouraged alongside his or her musical learning and development.

We are committed to supporting talented young artists in the early phases of their career. We do this through mentorship, carefully tailored to the individual. Our mentors, themselves internationally established artists, offer ongoing musical guidance and the opportunity for deeper study. In our view, knowledge of the music business is key, and long-term advice and mentorship is offered by our own mentors and industry professionals in our network.

Finding mentorship and developing networking happens during our projects, but can be followed up during the rest of the year.

Community and Support

LEAD! Foundation aims to create a sustainable network for learning as well as to provide a supportive community. In addition to our face-to-face activities, we offer online teaching, career advice and assistance to our students and alumni no matter where they are in the world and in their career.
